If you can get yourself a used/cheap/extra Android phone/tablet you can run Unified Remote to control all of windows and use their Plex remote (or the official or other Android Plex remotes). There are some nice media PC remotes from Logitech and others that might be nice if you want a compact remote with physical keyboard.
