The Windows 2008 R2 (SBS) machine was earlier setup to run a PPTP VPN server. Due to security concerns I do want to replace the PPTP by L2TP/IPsec VPN server. The server is behind a NAT router where 3 forward rules to the Windows Server are created: protocol 50 (ESP) port UDP 500 (IKE) port UDP 4500 (NAT traversal)

Hi All, So i have server 2008 R2 Set with the remote access roll set up and vpn configured, i am able to connect through the vpn just fine but once i connect i cannot access anything beyond the server i.e the internet.

My aim is to be able to give access to my server remotely and access the shared files and folders i have enabled. The only way i can think of is VPN, but not sure on how to set up. Every method i have read on google doesn't seem to work for me.
