Connecting two wireless routers without wires has many uses in a home network. If the home is not wired for Ethernet and there are several devices which need to be connected to home network then connecting them trough router to router wireless bridge is a good idea. You can opt to use wireless adapters, also known as wireless gaming adapters.
im tryna bridge my laptops wireless connection to my ps3 cause the signal strength on there is crap as, so i wanna know if anyone knows hows to bridge the connection i have an ethernet cable The wireless bridge device works in layer two, i.e., the data link layer. 802.11n, 802.11g, and 802.11a/b/g standards are supported for bridging. They are used for internetworking. Wireless to ethernet bridge is hardware by which WIFI clients can easily connect to the ethernet connection. This hardware consists of WIFI WPA (Wireless Access Points). I have mine connected exactly like this. It goes PS4---Netgear R6250 (bridge)~~~Netgear R6250 (AP)---Modem---interwebs where --- is hardwire and ~~~ is wireless 802.11AC. The wireless link is currently at 866Mbps. No issues with PSN other than it being slow server side. Played Battlefront with no issues at all on my 65mbps cable connection. Re: Connecting WNHDE111 wireless bridge to PS3 I think you are wasting the money using 2x of WHNDE111 any of wn2000rpt, wn3000rp and wnce2001 save you money. 5Ghz has less range so you would loose the range as well.

Set up this wireless bridge with the PS3 LAN wire connected to the back of the wireless bridge. The bridge will connect to the NG router wirelessly. Direct Wired LAN cable is best for game consoles however. @theherm wrote: I've managed to connect my new R7000 once to my PS3 using WiFi. After that the PS3 won't connect to the router.
Looking into the possibility of using my PS3 as a wireless bridge. I have an old wired only squeezebox and I have moved them both, rather than rewire is there any way the squeezebox can use the wireless capabilities of the PS3 to connect to my computer and internet?
